The Zeiss/Yokagawa spinning disk confocal microscope is equipped with an Omicron laser merge module (405, 488, 561, 633nm lasers), Hamamatsu ImageEM X2 EMCCD camera, and Yokagawa CSU-X1 spinning disk system. It has full environmental control and a set of exceptional objectives. The spinning disk system is a good instrument for imaging living cells expressing UV, GFP, mCherry, and IR probes.
This microscope system is excellent for visualizing fluorescent objects 100nm or smaller.
