Factual Errors:
- Back cover: Species name of the lichen is Kaernfeltia californica
- p84: Equation 6.1 is the following:
- p125: Change “1mm” to “1µm”. The thinnest portion of the light sheet is <1µm…”
- p126: Equation 9.1 is the following:
- p126: “…a beam thickness of 2µm would yield a confocal length of 12µm, whereas a beam thickness of 10µm would yield a beam thickness of nearly 350µm.”
- p166: Large array detectors (Zeiss Airyscan, Nikin SPARK) use a GaAsP detector, not EMCCDs.
- p176: The letter “R” should be replaced with “PALM.”
Errors throughout the text
- “Norbert Test Plate” should be spelled “Nobert Test Plate” (see p187)
- “MINIFLUX” should be changed to “MINFLUX” (see p185)
- “orthogonality” should be changed to “orthogonally.” (see p94)
