IMR-90 human fibroblasts growing on a circularly patterned elastomer surface. The cells aligned themselves along the edge of the rings, which served as the contact guidance. The cells were stained with Rhodamin-Phalloidin and DAPI. Original images were taken from Axiophot fluorescent microscope and processed in Adobe Photoshop.
