Arabidopsis seeds imbibed 24h and stained with DAPI. The broken outer integument (green) reveals inner endosperm cells (blue). The seed was imaged under UV excitation using the IGIC's Zeiss Axiophot epifluorescence microscope. The image was captured with a QImaging MicroPublisher digital camera.
