Using the Epson Stylus Pro from Photoshop
- Use Photoshop's color proofing to see how to set color management. Select "Custom" from the Proof setup menu (View: Proof Setup)
.

- Select the appropriate paper.
With the "Preview" button checked, select the Intent to see if and how the image changes. Photoshop will simulate printer colors in the image window. This step is optional, but is a good idea so you can see on your computer (close to) what it will look like when you print. If it looks OK on the screen, then proceed to step 3.
- Select Page Setup to set the Epson 4000 printer and the size of the paper:

- Select Print with Preview out of Photoshop.

- These settings set color management for this image. Choose the Pro4000 Premium Luster (250) for the Printer Profile. Remember your Proof Settings? Set Rendering Intent (here we have used Relative Colorimetric).

- When you click Print, the Print dialog box appears. Select BIFEpson4000(IP:Standard).
There are two very important settings: Print Settings and Printer Color Management.

- Print Settings: Choose Premium Luster Photo Paper (250) for the Media Type

- This setting is very important for either paper feed method. Make certain that Printer Color Management is OFF.
- Click on Print and that's it.
